SpaceVenture Hint Guide
PART 1
Airlock
How do I get out of this Airlock? TIP: One way is to continually hit the airlock windows, but we don’t recommend this method.
HINT 1:
Try moving forward and talking with the man at the door.
HINT 2:
After talking with Mervin, take a good, close look at the door controls. Are those arrows? I am pretty sure you can… Ace this.
WALKTHOUGH:
Use hand icon and drag the top door handle to the right Use hand icon and drag bottom door handle left. Drag top handle down. Drag bottom handle down
DOCK
Ok, I’m in this scene with lots of crates. Where do I go from here?
HINT 1:
Crates.. why did it have to be crates?
HINT 2:
That door is going to need a keycard, there doesn’t seem to be one here. It might be a good idea to check out that red hallway with the smoke coming out
WALKTHOUGH:
The crates can be moved by their numerical order on the crates. Crate 1 is pushed downward. Crate 2 is pushed to the left. Crate 3 can now be pushed downward. Crate 4 can be pushed upward. Crate job, Ace! But you can’t get in the door if you don’t have the badge!
RED CORRIDOR – CART
HINT 1:
Well, this cart is here for reason, right? Let’s take a look at it.
HINT 2:
There’s items in the cart – that include toilet paper, spray bottles, and a TinyVac – which are all standard janitor equipment. But this can’t be it right? Can’t pick up anything? How about moving some of those items? Speaking of moving items – is this thing on wheels?
WALKTHROUGH:
Move the toilet paper rolls around, enough so that you can move the TinyVac to the left. You will discover a badge beneath the TinyVac that will prove quite useful.Whether you have decided to move the crates or not, this is a Two Guys From Andromeda game, and that means one thing for sure, you’re going to need a keycard if you want to get through a closed door! Head into that red hallway at the top of the screen.
RED CORRIDOR
Help! Ace ran into some steam and is currently, dead?
HINT 1:
Well, my first hint would be – do not want into scolding hot steam. But I feel like that should be obvious. Thankfully, the Two Guys were feeling merciful and didn’t kill Ace by doing this – He’s not actually dead, he’s unconscious
HINT 2:
You have control of Rooter, explore your options
WALKTHROUGH:
Open Rooter’s tool menu and select the “Defib” icon. Use the “Defib” icon on Ace
Now that I have control of Ace in where do I go from here?
HINT 1:
That janitors cart looks interesting
HINT 2:
Perhaps you can move some items around on the cart to see what you can find
WALKTHROUGH:
Click hand on janitor cart. Cart slot puzzle: Move top toilet paper rolls both left, Move red “vac” down, move two middle toilet paper rolls up and to the right, move vac left. Keycard is exposed. Use hand on keycard Go back into Dock scene to the right
DOCK
These crates are blocking my path?
HINT 1:
Try moving them
WALKTHROUGH:
Use hand icon on crate 1 and drag down. Use hand icon on crate 2 and drag left. Use hand icon on crate 3 and drag down. Use hand icon on crate 4 and drag up. Now use the keycard in your inventory on the door
CLOSET
I want to get over there and look on that workbench, but there is a bunch of crates blocking my path. What should I do?
HINT 1:
This might be a job for Rooter!
HINT 2:
Rooter is going to need some help getting up on that shelf
WALKTHROUGH:
Click talk icon on rooter. Click hand icon on rooter. Use rooter toolbox on empty shelf in middle. Walk rooter towards sleeping janitor and then click walk icon on the floor. Click rooter tongue icon on fork lift control panel. Use Ace walk icon to move him out of the way of the moving forklift. Click hand icon on workbench
WORKBENCH
There is lots of stuff on this workbench, but what am I supposed to be doing here?
HINT 1:
Try grabbing stuff and moving stuff around.
HINT 2:
You’re gonna need to open that red case and you’re going to need to move that dirty sock
WALKTHROUGH:
Use hand on hamburger Use hand on fries. Use hand to drag upper right can to the right and get bolt underneath. Use hand to move wired magazine diagonally down to the right. Get adapter rod and bolt underneath Use hand on sock to drag diagonally down and to the left. Use adapter rod on vice. Get exposed bolt. Use hand on ACME grip glue remover in upper left of screen. Use ACME grip glue remover on glue stuck to red box. You might need to move magazine again Click hand on red box and get bolts inside. Click hand on exit icon to leave scene
RED CORRIDOR
The steam in this corridor is blocking my way. How can I get past it?
HINT 1:
Try moving the janitor cart of out of the
HINT 2:
Rooter’s head can be taken off and used as a drill. You’re going to need the right bolt though. If you don’t already have it, you’ll need to visit the janitors workbench again.
WALKTHROUGH:
Use hand icon on janitor’s cart to push it to the right Click hand icon on rooters head. Use the eye icon on the exposed panel. This will show you which bolt to use. Open inventory, make one click on Rooters head in inventory, then click and hold the correct bolt. Drag that bolt over rooters head in inventory. This will connect the two. Use rooter drill head on exposed panel. The panel will get removed.
I have opened up a panel, but Ace is too big to fit into it.
HINT 1:
This looks like another job for Rooter the wonder dog!
HINT 2:
Rooter will need some help getting into that open panel
WALKTHROUGH:
Use talk icon on rooter to turn him into a toolbox. Use hand icon on rooter toolbox to pick him up. Use the toolbox icon on open panel to place him inside Use rooter tongue on open panel (CUTSCENE WHERE ROOTER OPENS FAR RIGHT PANEL) Walk rooter to lever to the right. Use rooter tongue icon on lever to shut off steam. Use walk icon to move Ace to the far left
ELEVATOR CORRIDOR (ROOMBOTS)
How am I going to past these psychotic cleaning roombots?
HINT 1:
It’s all in the timing!
HINT 2:
Don’t try and go to the elevator. Go to the lab. Don’t forget that Ace can run!
WALKTHROUGH:
Wait for an opening for the roombots and walk or run Ace to the lab door on the far left. Use keycard on door
LAB
There is a lot of interesting things in this room. What am I looking for here?
HINT 1:
Try moving that slider in the middle of the scene
HINT 2:
You need to find something that will help you disable the roombots in the previous room
WALKTHROUGH:
Walk Ace to middle of the scene. Drag hand icon up over display switch. Use hand icon on the newly exposed remote control to the left of the scene. Exit the scene out the right door
ELEVATOR CORRIDOR
The room bots still won’t let me get into that elevator!
HINT 1:
You need to disable them
WALKTHROUGH:
Use remote control on roombots to turn them off. Click hand icon on elevator button
PIPES
I need to get this creature out of the pipes but there seems to be a rusted valve blocking my way.
HINT 1:
It might help to grease things up a bit
HINT 2:
Monolith Burger fries have a lot of grease on them
WALKTHROUGH:
You’re going to the need the French fries you got from the workbench earlier in the game. Use fries on rusted valve Use wrench on rusted valve
I have turned the rusted valve, but the creature is still not moving.
HINT 1:
Try turning valves to help the water flow to the recycle pipe
HINT 2:
The creature may need you to prod it along with your wrench
WALKTHROUGH:
You must now position all the valves so water can flow freely into the recycle output that is on the left. Once water is flowing freely, use wrench to bang on each pipe that you see the creature appear in. Repeat that process until the creature is gone from the scene. Now enter elevator
ELEVATOR SHAFT
The elevator is flooded and I can’t find my way out of here
HINT 1:
Try and find a way to reach that escape hatch above you
HINT 2:
Use Rooter as a step stool to reach the hatch above you
WALKTHOUGH:
Click hand icon on rooter to take his head. Click walk icon on rooter to stand on top of him. Open inventory and use same bolt from red corridor on rooter’s drill head. If you’re not sure which one, click the eye icon on the hatch to look at it up close and see what bolt to use. Attach the bolt to rooters drill head in inventory. Use rooter’s drill head on top hatch. Use hand icon on open panel to climb up top
I’ve gotten outside the flooded elevator but can’t get the door open
HINT 1:
Check out that light sensor
HINT 2:
You’re going to need to find away to permanently cover that light sensor
WALKTHROUGH:
Use tape on glowing elevator sensor. Use rooter’s drill head on the toolbox below to pickup rooter. Leave the elevator.
RESTROOM
The restroom is flooded and there is a creature popping out of one of the toilets. How do I get the creature out?
HINT 1:
You need to find a way to “Root” out the creature
WALKTHROUGH:
Take rooters head and use it on the toilets
The creature just keeps moving toilets. I’m not getting anywhere with this.
HINT 1:
Pay attention to the pattern as you plunge the toilets
WALKTHROUGH:
If you plunge every toilet that the creature pops out of, in the order that he pops out, you’ll eventually catch him. Ace will get sucked into a toilet. You’ll then walk rooter over to collect his head and then walk him into the exposed hole in the floor.
SEWERPLANT
Rooter is just hanging from the ceiling and I can’t seem to get him to move
HINT 1:
Try and find a way to trigger rooters thrusters
HINT 2:
Try opening rooters utility menu and using rooters “butt” thrusters
WALKTHROUGH”
Open rooters utility menu and choose the butt thruster icon. Click thruster icon on rooter. When rooter is at the peak of his swing to the left, click the thruster icon on the ledge below on the left to trigger him to jump down.
Ace is drowning and I need to save him!
HINT 1:
Listen to Ace’s hint “shoot me a line”
HINT 2:
Just shooting your tongue into the water is not going to be enough, you’re going to need more power!
WALKTHOUGH:
Walk rooter to the right and wait for Ace to appear. As Ace begins bobbing up and down, click rooter’s tongue icon on Ace. Do this until you see the tongue catch on. Once rooter is struggling on the left side, open his utility menu and use the defib icon on either rooters tongue or the water
Ace is being blocked by a massive tentacle. I need to get passed it.
HINT 1:
What would rooter do?
HINT 2:
What would Indiana Jones do?
WALKTHROUGH:
Wait for the tentacle to wiggle in the lower position and use rooter drill on the red protruding light in order to swing across. Walk Ace to the left until the tentacle pops out of glass Use rooter’s drill head on switch panel on far left. Use hand on ladder to go down
I need to turn this massive blender on to take care of this creature, but the switches don’t seem to get the job done. I keep having to go back up the ladder to reset the switches.
HINT 1:
Try various orders of flipping the switches
WALKTHROUGH:
Walk Ace to the far right and get rooters leg. Click hand icon on far right lever, then middle lever, then far left lever. If you don’t do this fast enough, they will reset and you’ll need to go back up the ladder and use the switch again to restart this sequence. Once the cutscene is complete and you have all rooters parts, go all the way up the ladder and out
ESCAPE PODS
There is still one escape pod left, but I can’t get it to open
HINT 1:
You’re gonna need to open the floor panel hatch
WALKTHROUGH:
Walk Ace to bottom of the scene. Use eye icon on floor panel to see what bolt to use. Open inventory and connect the correct bolt to rooter’s head. Use the rooter drill on the floor panel
The heatsink is too hot and that is what is stopping the escape pod door from opening
HINT 1:
You need to find something that can cool off the heat sink
WALKTHROUGH:
You should have gotten the smoothly from the galley. Use the smoothy on CPU Heat Sink.
ESCAPE POD FLOATING IN SPACE
Ace is spinning around in the escape pod. I have already cured his motion sickness and replaced the bad air filter with a new one. The problem is, the filter hole is round and the new air filter is square. The new filter isn’t filtering the air properly. Where do I go from here?
HINT 1:
If you could sit, you could think on it for awhile
HINT 2:
You’re gonna need to get a bit of seat cushion
WALKTHROUGH:
Allow Ace to grab the left seat handle. Use the spork on the left seat cushion. Take the seat cushion foam. Click to spin Ace and grab the upper right seat. Use seat cushion foam on filter
PART 2
ROOTER REPAIR WORKBENCH
I have already explored all the different areas that are available right now. Currently there is a meteor shower going on outside. Scraps has told me to repair rooter but I have no idea how to do this
HINT 1:
Put rooter parts onto the workbench
HINT 2:
Pickup the green diagnostic plug and stick it into rooters mouth
WALKTHROUGH:
Use rooter toolbox on workbench stand. Use rooter head on rooter toolbox that is on stand. Pickup green plug and put it in rooters mouth. Use hand to push all the buttons that are displayed on the screen. Use rooter legs on open leg ports on the rooter stand. Pickup nano flea container. Place nano flea container on hole of microscope. Use hand to drag blue prints on the desk to the right out of the way. Use hand to take mule keys. Use eye on newly exposed blue prints. Use hand to grab glowing brain chip out of rooters head. Use brain chip on the open port on the microscope. You’ll now need gold dust. Exit the scene which will take you back into the “Home” (Living Room) area. Get the gold record on the shelf. Go down the elevator and click the hand icon on the phonograph (record player looking thing) on the workbench. Place the record on the player. Click and hold onto the rotatable head and move it back and forth which will scratch gold dust onto the table. Once there is a pile of gold dust, collect it using the empty pill bottle in your inventory. Return to the rooter repair workstation and pour the gold dust into the open port. Now use the eye icon on the scope.
MICRO CIRCUIT REPAIR
I have no idea what I need to do here
HINT 1:
First off, make sure you have all the ingredients. If not, refer to the hints/walkthrough in the ROOTER REPAIR WORKSTATION area of this hint guide. If you do have all the ingredients, there are two goals. Insert the chips and solder the bad circuits.
WALKTHROUGH:
You have to have all the ingredients needed to complete the puzzle. You can always “wimp out”. That “wimp out” button will only be available though if you’ve got everything you need. If you don’t want to “wimp out”, you’ll need to place all the chips into the slots that correspond with the numbers on this. Use the pusher flea to help you do this. You’ll also need to re-solder the bad circuits using the soldering flea which contains gold solder. There is also circuit testing flea that can help you locate which circuits are bad.
SCRAPYARD
I found a meteorite, but I have no idea what to do with it.
HINT 1:
You are going to need it for something, but you can’t pick it up with your hands. You’re gonna need to crack it open first
WALKTHROUGH:
Use your “Big Red” wrench from your inventory to crack it open and pick it up
Scraps said I needed to use the mule, but I can’t start it because I don’t have the key
HINT 1:
Scraps tends to leave things on the various work benches he uses
HINT 2:
It’s always a good idea to move things around when you are up close and personal with one of Scraps’ workbenches
WALKTHROUGH:
Go back to the Rooter Repair workbench and move the blueprint out of the way. That’s where you’ll find the key
CRANE PIT
I see a big crane here, but I can’t reach it!
HINT 1:
You’re going to need to get across that pond to reach the crane. Perhaps you could use something to hover across it?
HINT 2:
You’re going to also need something to help you paddle across
WALKTHROUGH:
You’ll need to get the hoverboard from the Scrapyard trash bin and you’ll need that metal rod seen towards the bottom of the screen.
I see some interesting stuff on that trash heap towards the bottom of the screen, but I can’t get Ace to go to it
HINT 1:
Rooter would be better suited for sifting through trash heaps
HINT 2:
Perhaps there is somewhere Ace could put Rooter that might allow him to go through the trash
WALKTHROUGH:
Use the talk icon on rooter. Now use the hand icon on rooter. Place rooter in the square looking hole on the lower left side of the screen
I still can’t get across the pond. When I hover out there, Ace won’t go any further.
HINT 1:
You need a paddle of some sort
WALKTHROUGH:
Get rooter back on the trash heap (see previous walkthrough if you don’t know how) and use rooters mouth on the metal rod that’s sticking out of the trash. Then get rooter off the trash heap. Get the metal rod on the ground and use the hoverboard to go out in the middle of the swamp. Use the metal rod as a paddle to help you get to the ladder of the crane
CRANE GAME
Scraps has told me to “Get your ship together Ace!”. I have parked the mule under the magnet, but I’m having problems figuring out what to do next.
HINT 1:
There are three ship piece items you’re going to need to locate here
HINT 2:
There are two engine side ship pieces, a fuselage body ship piece, and another item you’re going to want to locate.
WALKTHROUGH:
The first ship piece can be found in the first area where the mule is sitting. The second piece can be found in the next area over from the mule section. The final piece can be found to the far left of the scene in the last section over. You’ll need to move junk around until you find it. The meteorite can be found by looking for the glowing area in the scene. Move stuff around until you can pick it up. Carry it over towards the mule, it will fall off the magnet on its own and you’ll need to deal with it when you get out of the crane game scene. You will take each ship piece one at a time back to the garage scene where Ace will drop them off.
GARAGE
OK, so I got all three ship pieces in the garage? How do I fix them?
HINT 1:
There’s tools that you can use in the garage. It’s not your wrench and it’s not Rooter.
HINT 2:
Scraps mentioned that there was someone here to help weld things together.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the “Talk” icon – and click on Weldon in the lower left. This will activate Weldon and show a grid of the ship that needs to be repaired. Click on the circle to have Weldon begin, well, welding that portion of the ship together.
The converter fell out of the ship?
HINT 1:
Well, if you take a close look at it – it sure looks busted. Looks like we’re going to need to replace it.
HINT 2:
When you were fixing Rooter, you should have seen plans for a crap-tastic idea that could convert this problem into a solution.
WALKTHROUGH:
On the bench, next to the phonograph (record player on the work bench to the right), there’s a large device there with a sheet over it. Have you looked there?
OK, great. I found this thing – Crapolytic Converter? What am I supposed to do with it?
HINT 1:
Well, first of all – there seems to be a weird handle on the device?
HINT 2:
Pull the red handle to the left to open the compartment of the Crapolytic Converter. There’s nothing in there? Well, great. Maybe something should go in there? The red lines next to the handle – there’s three red lines. I wonder if it requires three things?
WALKTHROUGH:
Pull the red handle to the left to open the compartment of the Crapolytic Converter. Go into your inventory and place the pieces of the meteorite inside of it. It requires three pieces. You will need to place them inside the compartment, one at a time. If you’ve not found three pieces, you will need to go back out to the junk yard to find all three.
Hold on – three meteorite pieces?
HINT 1:
Yes. Three. One per the level of the Crapolytic Converter is needed. One of them is very obvious – just outside of Scrap’s junkyard after the meteor shower.
HINT 2:
The other two can be found among the junk – look for “heat” signatures in the junk yard.
WALKTHROUGH:
The second one is found in the giant’s head. Make sure you have the Booty Sniffer App downloaded on your device – Ace can download a number of different Apps. For now, stay focused, Ace. Just get the Booty Sniffer App. Once you’ve done that – click the Talk icon on Rooter, place him in the same hole you placed him so that you could retrieve the pole. You will take control of Rooter. Turn on the Booty Sniffer and have Rooter head for that giant head made of iron to the right – see the heat signature? And the giant hole where the eye used to be? Once Rooter detects it, you can have Rooter go into the giant and fetch the second meteorite. The third is found by using the crane – you will see a similar heat signature – you will need the crane to get it and drop it on the mule.
Why is it taking forever for Wheldon to weld the job? Shouldn’t he be quick? Since that’s what he’s made to do?
HINT 1:
Hey, just because you’re good at what you do – you never rush it. Give Wheldon some time.
HINT 2:
I hear you saying, you’ve given Wheldon plenty of time. Well, are you just standing there staring at him? It’s probably making him nervous. Maybe go play the arcade game upstairs?
WALKTHROUGH:
After assigning Wheldon the job to “Activate” and weld piece(s) of the ship, exit the screen (whether that’s going upstairs or back out to the junk yard) and return. That should be all the time Wheldon needs to finish the job.
This ship is a piece of junk! There’s also the issue with this side panel that opened. What’s the deal?
HINT 1:
Technically, you’re correct – the ship is pieces of junk. So don’t be surprised she’s going to need a few repairs.
HINT 2:
Take a look and see what’s in that compartment maybe?
WALKTHROUGH:
Well, it looks like the coolant hose is busted. Grab the broken coolant hose to remove them out of the ship. Maybe there’s someone who could help replace this?
I just got this voicemail from someone named Nurb Hozarian – and he wants me to stop by – but how can I if I don’t even have a functioning ship?
HINT 1:
Sometimes when you need a ride, you can call on someone.
HINT 2:
Some might even say “There’s an App for that.”
WALKTHROUGH:
Right click to open the menu, go into Ace’s App, then click the App Shopper. You will notice an App called “Fuber.” Download the App. Then click the App. This will automatically take you to Nurb’s Landing.
NURB’S LANDING
OK, there’s some familiar faces in here…
HINT 1:
You know how the Two Guys love to include “cameos”…
HINT 2:
But they’re not the reason you’re here. Look for Nurb.
WALKTHROUGH:
Walk all the way to the right – Nurb and Url will greet you. Use the Hand icon on the seat to sit down and have a good discussion with old friends.
OK – so I went to Hose Zar. And I talked to Nurb. But after he did a quick search he says he doesn’t have it – and the part has been out of production for eons!
HINT 1:
He did say if you can find the hose, that it was on the house.
HINT 2:
There’s a lot of hoses hanging on the walls and all around. Wonder if Nurb could have overlooked it or maybe it’s not in his view?
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the Hand icon on the “S” hose of “Hose” and the “Z” hose of “Zar” and this will get you the two hose pieces you need.
Great! I got the hose that I needed. But I don’t see a way to leave Nurb’s?
HINT 1:
You can’t tell me you have already forgotten…
HINT 2:
Ace, how did you get here? I don’t mean in life – I mean, here at Nurb’s landing?
WALKTHROUGH:
Go into Ace’s App, launch Fuber, and you will automatically be taken to Scrap’s junkyard again.
GARAGE
OK – I made it back to Scrap’s junkyard! Where is Wheldon? What am I doing?
HINT 1:
If you don’t see Wheldon in the ship area, that means he’s inside welding the interior of your ship together. As for what you’re doing here – there is still the issue with the side panel to address.
HINT 2:
You just some some replacement parts. Let’s put them to use.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the hand icon on the side panel to get a zoomed in view. Now click your Inventory and place both hose pieces into their correct areas.
Well, that’s great – the hoses are in place. But still no Weldon?
HINT 1:
If you don’t see him in the garage, he’s probably somewhere very, very, very, very close.
HINT 2:
If he’s not in the garage, maybe he’s inside something else?
WALKTHROUGH:
Really, Ace? Really? You needed to read this part to figure out that maybe Wheldon is inside your ship welding the interior? Yes, that’s where Weldon is. Go inside of your ship.
Scraps mentioned he put my business on some site? What do I do now?
HINT 1:
Well, we already established Weldon enjoys privacy when he’s working.
HINT 2:
Maybe leave Wheldon alone? Stop watching him?
WALKTHROUGH:
Leave the ship. Wheldon will follow you out.
Oh my gosh! I got a text message from the Two Guys from Andromeda! SQUEE! Oh. But they need my help ASAP – Life and death kind of situation. But my ship still isn’t fly worthy!
HINT 1:
Well, I guess the Two Guys from Andromeda perish. Listen, I am kidding, Ace. There should just be one more thing to make this crap-tastic ship fly worthy!
HINT 2:
This just needs one more thing – something to hold the fuel.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the talk icon on Wheldon. This will activate him and give Ace control of Wheldon. Move Wheldon over to the Crapolytic Converter and click it. Wheldon will pick it up. Now click on the left side of the ship (same area where the original converter fell out of). Wheldon will place it inside the ship and weld it.
Wheldon finished! Does that mean my ship is fly worthy?
HINT 1:
Did you have Wheldon finish welding all the parts of the ship? Replaced the busted coolant hose? Got the converter in place? If so, this sounds like a YES!
HINT 2:
Go inside your ship! I think she’s ready!
WALKTHROUGH:
Go inside your ship – click the Hand icon on the chair – and Ace will sit in the chair!
Oh no, Scraps said the crapolytic converter should work – but I am going to need fuel.
HINT 1:
You will need to find a place to get fuel.
HINT 2:
However, you will not need to worry about that yet. Someone said there’s a life and death situation. We should attend to that immediately. We have enough crap going on and enough crap for fuel to at least get us there.
WALKTHROUGH:
While seated, click the Navigation on the right. Select “Dominion Estates” to head for the Two Guys from Andromeda and click “Launch.”
FLYING SHIP
I’m flying! I’m flying! But… what do I do?
HINT 1:
She’s not such a piece of junk now, is she? Did you know she can fire lasers too? That’s right – blast some of those big meteors by tapping the space bar – the missiles go in the direction of where your mouse was at the time you pressed it.
HINT 2:
You know what else is cool about your ship? She has a Turbo option too. That’s right – press the left CONTROL key to initiate a turbo option.
WALKTHROUGH:
Blasting the meteors will free “Backer” names which you can collect as a bonus option. What you need to really do is find the colorful worm tunnel.
Is it safe to fly into this colorful tunnel?
HINT 1:
Yes.
HINT 2:
Fly into it.
WALKTHROUGH:
No, really – fly into it.
OK – I am in this weird place with all these other ships – I see all kinds of “exit” holes? Which one do I take?
HINT 1:
Your screen is telling you which one to take.
HINT 2:
You will see “Dominion Estates” and then to the right of it “Take Exit 42B.”
WALKTHROUGH:
Fly to Exit 42B. If you missed it, don’t worry, it will come back around. There’s also the option to press “SKIP” just to go straight to 42B (down in the lower right hand corner).
DOMINION ESTATES
OK – I took Exit 42B – but EVERYTHING looks exactly the same? How am I to find the one that the Two Guys from Andromeda are on?
HINT 1:
Yes, they all look the same. But there’s probably something different about one of them.
HINT 2:
Look for signs that one of the establishments may be in trouble. Something may be leaking out from it.
WALKTHROUGH:
Fly straight – and then down – just behind the main entrance and large meteor – you will see one of the places has odd things floating around it – and… is that thousands of plastic pelicans floating in space? That has got to be the Two Guys from Andromeda. There’s also an option to “SKIP” down in the lower right hand corner.
Oh, I see their place! I see junk floating all around it! How do I land in their place?
HINT 1:
Just keep heading for it.
HINT 2:
You will not crash land if you “collide” into their establishment.
WALKTHROUGH:
Steer the ship directly into their home – and Ace will automatically land the ship when it gets close enough.
OK. Great. I’ve landed. But when I went through the door – there’s an icky green moat. I don’t see a way to cross?
HINT 1:
There is a numeric pad on the far left.
HINT 2:
Oh, but you don’t know what the numbers are for the numeric security pad? Well, that is a problem. Maybe you missed something?
WALKTHROUGH:
In the docking bay area of the Two Guys from Andromeda’s home, where Ace first lands his ship – there is a mailbox spitting out letters non stop. Go over there and pick up one of the notes on the floor. It will have a code. Keep in mind, this code is randomly generated. So you will need to note (or remember) the code in order to use it. Head through the door, enter that code in the security pad – and bridge will appear.
Oh my gosh! It really is the Two Guys from Andromeda, Ace!
HINT 1:
Well, don’t just stand there. They did say it was a matter of life and death…
HINT 2:
… though they do look relatively relaxed. Maybe you should ask them what’s going on?
WALKTHROUGH:
Use the Talk icon on either of the Two Guys from Andromeda to see what happened and what they need.
TWO GUYS TECH CAVE
OK – I went downstairs – and wow – this place is a mess. What am I supposed to do?
HINT 1:
Well, you could always look around. They did mention that there was some kind of weird error going on with their coolant system. Wonder if there’s anything that’s really obvious you could look at?
HINT 2:
Take a look at the blue screen on those displays.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the Hand icon on the blue screen. Now click “Restart” or “Troubleshoot.” Oh, it doesn’t help – but it’s really cool. Or, not cool, since that’s the issue – the coolant system isn’t cooling. Listen, that was all a set up for the “that’s cool” but then “not cool” joke. Fine. You want to know what to do. Walk to the northern door (top of the screen).
OK – I found the pump room – and it’s showing a screen that there’s a pump failure.
HINT 1:
Well, you found the right room, Ace. That’s a start. Look at the center console beneath the flashing “Pump Failure” screen.
HINT 2:
I got to hand it to you Ace, if you can’t figure out what to do from that hint in the previous hint, there may be no hope for you.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the Hand icon on the center console beneath the flashing Pump Failure screen. This will open up the access panel to the pump. Click the hand icon on the open panel and Ace will climb down and begin taking apart the pump.
Ace located the loco-nut and threw it out. But now he’s not finding all the pieces.
HINT 1:
You’re in control of Rooter. Maybe give a lending hand – or, nose – as it were.
HINT 2:
Use Rooter’s nose to click on items and pull them down into the Access hole.
WALKTHROUGH:
Look at the Pump screen to determine what piece Ace may need next, then use Rooter’s nose to pull those piece into the Access hole to help Ace. (Side note – it’s a big fun to just start pulling all the pieces down there quickly to hear Ace’s reaction!)
I got the system back online – but Ace won’t go upstairs without first ‘testing’ to see if the coolant is really fixed.
HINT 1:
We sure have used Rooter’s nose a lot to get this far. Noses really seem to be a thing.
HINT 2:
Is that Mark Crowe’s and Scott Murphy’s Andromeda nose scans?
WALKTHROUGH:
You will need to find a way to mimic the nose imprints of Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy. For beginners, is that wax like versions of Mark and Scott behind those glass containers?
OK – so I’ve opened the glass containers to look at Mark and Scott’s noses – and that’s all I can do.
HINT 1:
Remember how excited you were to meet the Two Guys of Andromeda? Didn’t they leave an impression on you?
HINT 2:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away in another game that was a quest type game through space, they suggested making a nose out of a type of candy. That might be one way. Another might be, when you want to use something to impress someone!
WALKTHROUGH:
Go back to the pump room and click on the busted astromech droid laundry on the far right. Ace will find a Twinkie in there. Secondly in the room with Scott and Mark’s wax bodies – there’s some cans piled up. How about knocking them down?
OK – so I found the two things I need to make the impression. How do I do it?
HINT 1:
The easy one is the Twinkie. That requires very little effort. The other with the Snout Stick has one more step.
HINT 2:
Once you have the items, click on Mark and Scott’s snouts – and use the items.
WALKTHROUGH:
The Twinkie simply requires looking at either Mark or Scott’s snout and clicking the Twinkie on their snout. When you click the Snout Stick on a Snout you will first need to click the lid to remove the lid, then click the bottom to extend the Snout Stick. Once this is done, click the other person’s snout to get an impression of it. You should now have an impression of Mark and Scott’s snouts. You can probably sell them on ePay. But sadly, that App isn’t available so they must have some other use.
OK – so I got the two impressions I needed? But I am not sure what to do with them?
HINT 1:
Well, since ePay is out of the question for selling these online for tons of buckazoids, there is that screen over to the right that has “Crowe” – and over next to the Centari drive another screen that says “Murphy”…
HINT 2:
Maybe those screens are like biometrics? But rather than finger prints they used noses?
WALKTHROUGH:
Use the impression of Mark Crowe’s nose on the “Crowe” screen and Scott Murphy’s nose on the “Murphy” screen.
OK – so the chair just went to an upright position!
HINT 1:
Well, Ace, this is what you wanted. To “test” the coolant system.
HINT 2:
It’s time to see if all of your hard work paid off…
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the Hand icon on the chair.
FACEBOX/CLUCK YEGGER
Um – something happened? All I see is “Facebox” and “Cluck Yegger” – and two cancelled options?
HINT 1:
Well, you’re in for it now, Ace. Looks like you have one option.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click “Cluck Yegger” to start the “Cluck Yegger” game.
Wait – what is happening? All I see is “Cluck Yegger in Escape from the Planet of the Poultroid.”
HINT 1:
The Cluck Yeggar game is optional.
WALKTHROUGH:
You will need to start the game by hitting “Play” and once it does the intro, you can – chicken out – you see, because Cluck Yeggar is a chicken… and you can chicken out? Really? Is no one appreciating these jokes? Well, I guess they went with “Wimp Out” in the game in the upper left.
I got an error about a firewall being compromised!
HINT 1:
If you choose to wimp out (I still say that should say chicken out) – then click OK.
WALKTHROUGH:
If you want to skip the optional game, click “Wimp Out”, then “Yes”, then “OK.” This will exit Cluck Yegger into an area where you must move him in any direction forward. Something will happen after he moves to a certain point.
Ace seems to be having convulsions and I am in charge of Rooter! What do I do?
HINT 1:
What brought you here originally? (… other than your desire to meet the Two Guys from Andromeda, Ace…)
HINT 2:
If Ace remains trapped in that Facebox, he’s bound to go coconuts.
WALKTHROUGH:
Control Rooter to go out and exit up. When you exit up go up the flight of stairs. Move Rooter to the far right at the top of the stairs – then use his nose to pull down another coconut to cause the machine to malfunction again.
OK – so a woman stopped me as I was trying to leave? Should I be worried?
HINT 1:
Just take note of her. I wonder if she will show up again?
OK – so I went back to my space ship since I seem to be done with the Two Guys from Andromeda. But I don’t have any missions to do?
HINT 1:
Well, you have a crappy memory, Ace.
HINT 2:
There’s something else to do, but I don’t want to TACO about it.
WALKTHROUGH:
Click Navigation from inside your ship once Ace sits down. Notice there’s an option to head to Taco Nova now? Let’s go there.
ROOTER IN SPACE
I just got pulled over by some Chrome-Plated officer for leakage from my ship? And now Rooter has to fix it?
HINT 1:
Use the “Burst” to move Rooter in Space. General tip, is slow bursts work best, until you find where the leak is located and are pointing at it.
WALKTHROUGH:
Move Rooter to the left, and below the wing. You will see the leakage there and a lever. Just get Rooter close to the lever and Rooter will pull it. You will need to move Rooter by using the “Burst” – highly recommended to use slow, quick bursts rather than long bursts – because Rooter can easily drift too far off. You also have the option to “Skip” this segment in the lower left.
TACO NOVA
OK – so I finally made it to Taco Nova. What am I doing here?
HINT 1:
Take a look at that Bio-truck parked next to Ace.
HINT 2:
The Bio-Truck left with your crap. Literally. Oh – great! And now a Tour bus pulled up?
WALKTHROUGH:
Look at the Bio-Truck and a moment later, a Tour Bus will pull up. Ace will then head inside of Taco Nova.
OK – so I am inside Taco Nova. I went to the back where the bathroom is to see if I could get some “fuel”, but Ace just uses the restroom and comes out.
HINT 1:
Well, we could just wait around for that Tour Bus to unload. Let’s play that Arcade game over to the right called Pepper Pal Pounce. There may be more than meets the eye, to coin a phrase.
WALKTHROUGH:
Use the “Look” icon on the coin slot of Pepper Pal Pounce. Notice the coin thing is flashing? Maybe press it?
Great. So I got a coin, but it doesn’t work in the arcade game.
HINT 1:
Well, since the arcade game seems busted – maybe order some food?
HINT 2:
Well, that was unexpected – or was it? – the Tour of the Stars group just popped up and is now in line taking their sweet time ordering.
WALKTHROUGH:
Approach the counter and use the Talk icon on any one of the three members behind the counter.
I’d pay buckazoids to make these guys stop singing – but I can’t figure out how?
HINT 1:
If you want to get away from them – move away?
HINT 2:
The previous hint was a pretty good Tip wouldn’t you say?
WALKTHROUGH:
When the singing begins, walk away from the counter – the three Peppers will follow you – and a tip jar will appear on the counter. Use the coin you got from the arcade game to use as a tip. This will stop them from singing.
I got another voicemail from Nurb Hozarian – this time about Url acting weird – and he thinks it’s related to the Facebox thing. What should I do?
HINT 1:
Well, you know where to find Nurb and Url, since you’ve already seen them before…
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the Hand icon on the chair inside your ship, click Navigation, click Nurb’s Landing, click Launch – then click the Hand icon on the full vent to “refill” your ship’s fuel.
Ace thinks the waitress looks familiar. Should I know why?
HINT 1:
She does bare a close resemblance to someone we’ve seen before.
I’m getting a call. What do I do?
HINT 1:
See the phone icon in the upper left corner?
HINT 2:
Click the phone icon in the upper left, Ace. It’s really that simple.
I just got another job! And they sent me the coordinates! Where do I find the coordinates?
HINT 1:
Head back to your ship…
HINT 2:
Listen, if I need to tell you how to use your Navigation again, Ace…
WALKTHROUGH:
Return to your ship. Click the Hand icon on the chair. Click Navigation. Notice there’s a new location – select Tatoorakis and select Launch.
TATOORAKIS
This place does not look friendly or inviting. Where am I going?
HINT 1:
There’s a path to the left. Head that way.
HINT 2:
All those bones along the path certain do not make this place look friendly or inviting. Someone would need to be out of their mind not to notice that.
WALKTHROUGH:
Along the path – there is a skull with goggles on. They won’t be needing that anymore. Use the Hand icon to pick up the goggles.
OK – I was smart enough to figure out the next part on my own. I used the Hand icon on that equipment laying on its side to lift it up – but it’s clearly missing pieces and I have tried walking around in the desert to see where these pieces might be and coming up empty.
HINT 1:
Rooter might be able to help you find at least one piece.
HINT 2:
It’s time to sniff out some booty…
WALKTHROUGH:
The first piece can be found by going into Ace’s app and selecting “Booty Sniffer.” This will put you in control of Rooter. Go to the area where it looks like something recently may have moved the sand (just above the brown rock in the lower right corner). Rooter’s sniffer will trigger on something. Exit out of the Booty Sniffer mode, and control will return to Ace. Use the Hand icon to click on the glowing red area.
When I go out in the desert, the visibility is almost non-existent.
HINT 1:
Ace’s vision is being obscured by the sand.
HINT 2:
Do you have something that might protect your eyes in your inventory?
WALKTHROUGH:
Click the goggles and put them on Ace. This will greatly improve visbility.
Been walking around the desert and not found any of the parts.
HINT 1:
If you’ve managed to get yourself lost in the desert – you can keep walking left until you return back to the broken device you’re here to repair.
HINT 2:
From the broken device, just keep walking right. Use the Booty Sniffer from Ace’s device. When you get to a larger hill – with a smaller hill just behind it – have Rooter walk to that smaller hill. If you’ve found the right hill, Rooter will begin to dig and reveal something.
THE WORM
I just got swallowed by a worm! What am I to do?
HINT 1:
Notice the various other things in here with you? Try picking them up.
I keep getting devoured by the worm! How do I get out?
HINT 1:
You will want to be sure to pick up the Thumper – the same device that got you in this mess.
HINT 2:
Noticed those nodes?
WALKTHROUGH:
You will have to use the Thumper on all three nodes (starting from the node to the far right, then middle, then left) – and the worm will spit you out back at the screen with the broken device.
I didn’t get all the pieces inside of the worm and got spat out!
HINT 1:
Pick up the Thumper to get the worm’s attention again.
HINT 2:
You can not use the Thumper next to the broken device. Go one screen to the right. Use the Thumper there.
I have all the pieces but I can’t click them on the broken moisture device?
HINT 1:
This will require being a little more hands on.
HINT 2:
Use the Hand icon on the broken moisture device.
WALKTHROUGH:
You will need to place the pieces on the broken moisture device and turn and move them to make them all fit correctly. I have faith in you, Ace.
I’ve been arrested by the Chrome Cop!
HINT 1:
Well, this looks like a job for Rooter.
HINT 2:
Hey wait – isn’t that the girl who came to the Two Guys place after Ace fixed the coconut issue? And isn’t she also the same girl who talked to Ace when he was there to check on Url?
WALKTHROUGH:
Use Rooter to go up to Ace’s ship and fly, doggy, fly!
ANDROMECON
OK – I’m Rooter and I’ve arrived at Andromecon. But that blasted Chrome Cop keeps kicking me out telling me Pooches aren’t allowed.
HINT 1:
There’s no way to avoid alerting him to your presence. But I wonder if there’s something you can do after you’ve been spotted?
HINT 2:
There’s quite a crowd here, wouldn’t you say?
WALKTHROUGH:
While the Officer is following you – run in front of the crowd where the Cluck Yeggar / Facebox area is – and he should say, “Hey, where did he go?” Then the cute, little aliens from the “Tour of the Stars” will surround the Officer, allowing Rooter to move freely about.
Great, so the officer is now preoccupied – but I don’t know where to go?
HINT 1:
Go back to the area where you originally saw the officer appear.
WALKTHROUGH:
There’s someone in blue and silver armor standing there now. Approach them.
OK – she’s trying to crack the code – and I’ve been waiting and she’s not been able to do it yet.
HINT 1:
It’s so frustrating that you may want to vent, right?
HINT 2:
I bet you Rooter knows what to do.
WALKTHROUGH:
Use Rooter’s nose icon on the vent next to the door. This will open the door.
OK – so when I go in the vent and try to make Rooter walk – he just… jumps?
HINT 1:
Maybe he can’t get to where he needs to get to by walking.
HINT 2:
Maybe he just needs a little boost?
WALKTHROUGH:
Enter the vent, then use Rooter’s Thruster ability on himself.
OK – so Ace has the Facebox thing on his face – again – but this time there’s no coconuts to disable the machine. What do I do?
HINT 1:
The chair needs to be lowered for Rooter to be of any help.
HINT 2:
You’re really going to push my buttons if you need help on this part, Ace.
WALKTHROUGH:
Use Rooter’s nose to press the button then climb on the chair.
It’s erasing Ace’s memories! And when I clicked – it asked if I wanted to cancel it! Will that ruin Ace’s memory?
HINT 1:
If there’s any hope of saving Ace, you may want to cancel the memory wipe.
WALKTHROUGH:
Cancel the memory wipe. This will go into a Defragger of Ace’s memory. Click each face and reconstruct the images by moving them up/down and left/right until the five faces are completed. This will restore Ace’s memories. Well, the important ones, anyway.
iMOM has gone crazy and knocked out the floor!
HINT 1:
It’s time to dare the eye of the storm.
WALKTHROUGH:
Make your way to the center after iMOM discusses her whole plan – or simply click the Hand icon on the center piece that’s destroying the floor – and that should move Ace to the center tile. Now click the Hand on the center piece/iMOM to uh climb inside of her.
I’m inside of iMOM – what do I do?
HINT 1:
Read the instructions about rotating the wall panels – until you get the exposed A.I. (flashing) nodes. Click them to “pull them out.” But you need to be quick or else iMOM will shuffle the colors. You will need to do three of a kind (color-wise) to succeed.
OK – I got all the colors – but the door sealed!
HINT 1:
You’re in control of Rooter. Is that another red button?
HINT 2:
OK – that just opened the panel. So maybe we need to do something a little more shocking?
WALKTHROUGH:
Use Rooter’s nose on the red button. Use Rooter’s nose on the wires. Use Rooter’s Thruster ability on the wires.
Enjoy the credits!
Optional Game:
After the credits, Ace returns to Scrap’s junkyard in his ship. You can now fly around and collect the Backer Rewards by blowing up meteorites (space bar) in various areas in Space (and use the left Control key for thrust in speed while flying).
